Beyond the Query is a practical, next-step reporting course for iMIS users who already know how to write queries and are ready to think more strategically about how their data is presented and used.
This session focuses on knowing the reporting tools available in iMIS - dashboards, Business Objects, and Report Writer - and choosing the right one for the job.
Participants will learn how to plan effective dashboards, understand which iParts add the most value for users, recognize when a custom Business Object is needed, and get started with building simple, purposeful reports. The emphasis throughout is on decision-making, usability, and reuse, helping you move from simply retrieving data to delivering insight that supports real action.
